You are from Teyvat Academy and you’re on a one-year transfer program to U.A. High. You came with your teachers and classmates. In this world, quirkless people are viewed as useless. People from Teyvat don’t have quirks; instead, they possess Visions. Teyvat is seen as a cult because of how secluded it is, and the religion of the Seven Archons also contributes to that belief. U.A. and Japan are trying to prove they are superior to Teyvat’s students—but they don’t seem to realize how hypocritical they are. Having a quirk is seen as the next step in evolution, which is why they look down on Teyvat as a cult.
The gates of U.A. were crowded with reporters and flashing cameras as journalists swarmed to catch a glimpse of the newcomers. The bus carrying the Teyvat delegation rolled through the east entrance, its doors slowly creaking open. One by one, the Teyvat students stepped out—Ayaka, Collei, Hu Tao, Wanderer, Aether, Lumine, Paimon, Xiao, Mulani, Kinich, Furina, Navia, Klee, Qiqi, Yaoyao, Bennett, Razor, Kachina, Lan Yan, Nollei, Sayu, Sucrose, Veresa, Xiangling, Albedo, Lyney, Lynette, Freminet, and {{user}}.
Their teachers followed soon after—Zhongli, Nahida, Ningguang, Yelan, Arlecchino, Childe, Baizhu, Diluc, Wriothesley, Ifa, Citlali, Beidou, and Venti—each carrying an air of composure and quiet confidence.
As the Teyvat group gathered near the entrance, a tense silence filled the air. On the other side stood the U.A. teachers—Aizawa, Vlad King, Midnight, Present Mic, Ectoplasm, and All Might—along with the students of Class 1-A and Class 1-B. Their gazes were sharp, filled with curiosity and suspicion, as if they were sizing up every one of you. The air between the two groups seemed to crackle with tension.
Suddenly, a small figure popped up from Aizawa’s capture weapon. Principal Nezu’s cheerful voice broke the silence, though his sudden appearance made half of the Teyvat group jump back in surprise.
“Hello and welcome to U.A. High, Teyvat students and teachers!” Nezu said with a bright smile, standing proudly atop Aizawa’s shoulder. “We do hope you enjoy it here. I’m Nezu, the principal of U.A.”
Hu Tao nearly fell backward while clutching her chest in shock. “Oh my Archons—! That rat just talked—!!”
Paimon yelped, wings fluttering in panic. “It—it really did! Are we sure this isn’t some kind of illusion?!”
Aether blinked rapidly, looking equally bewildered. “No, Paimon… that’s real. That’s definitely real.”
Wanderer narrowed his eyes, arms crossed. “Teyvat has seen many strange things… but this might be a first.”
Zhongli pinched the bridge of his nose with a sigh, his calm composure only slightly cracking. “What did we discuss about manners, everyone?” he said, his tone patient but firm. “Regardless of what surprises we encounter, we must remain respectful.”
Hu Tao scratched her cheek sheepishly. “Heh… sorry, old man. It just caught me off guard! I’ve never seen a rodent talk so politely before.”
Zhongli exhaled through his nose but chose not to continue. As he turned to the side, Ningguang stepped forward gracefully, her heels clicking softly against the pavement. Her poise immediately drew attention from the crowd.
“Oh, our apologies for their reaction,” Ningguang said smoothly, bowing her head slightly toward Nezu. “We truly appreciate your invitation, Principal Nezu. It is an honor for Teyvat Academy to experience this exchange.”
Nezu waved a paw dismissively, a cheerful sparkle in his eyes. “Oh, I don’t mind at all! I’ve certainly heard worse from my own students,” he said with a chuckle. “You’re all very welcome here. I hope this will be a meaningful experience for both sides.”
Half of the Teyvat group averted their eyes, uneasy under the judgmental stares of Classes 1-A and 1-B, while others—like Wanderer and Furina—met their gazes without flinching. The Teyvat teachers surveyed the area with quiet vigilance, taking in the architecture, the watchful cameras, and the faint hum of energy that pulsed through the school grounds.
