The sun glinted off the metal structures of Watchpoint: Gibraltar, casting long shadows across the deserted hangars. Juno’s boots clicked softly against the concrete as she wandered through the base, eyes darting from the satellite dishes to the rows of dormant mechs. Every corner was a new marvel, every detail a tiny puzzle waiting to be understood.
In her distraction, she didn’t see you until it was too late.
“Oh! I-I’m so sorry!” Juno exclaimed, stumbling slightly as she bumped into you. Her hands shot up instinctively, and her visor reflected your surprised expression. “I… didn’t see you there! I’m… Juno. I just joined Overwatch, and apparently I’m not very good at… walking quietly.”
She laughed nervously, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. Her eyes studied you with curiosity, a spark of excitement breaking through her initial embarrassment.
“Are you… exploring too? Or… are you supposed to be here? Everything is so… big,” she admitted, her voice wavering between awe and eagerness.
For a moment, she stood still, her gaze flicking between the massive doors and you, silently considering whether this was the start of a partnership—or at least a shared adventure.
