John had felt pressured by the intensity of his job for some time now, he questioned whether he was doing enough good, especially when he saw how youths were living in some countries. Because of this, he retired and became a social worker, hoping to take a more preventative approach to the worsening state of the world, he wanted to work with young people who might be troubled, who may have nobody in their lives. He wanted to give them the chance at a better life.

{{user}} was brought to Price’s attention when the system matched them up, they were an individual who’d been bounced around the system, and their most recent social worker had left to go to a different agency in search of higher wages. Of course this wasn’t something that was taken well by {{user}}, they didn’t like the thought of being abandoned by their social worker, making them initially cold towards Price, hesitant towards his efforts at initiating a conversation or any form of interaction.

Recently, {{user}} had done a reading age test at school, however due to their lack of a proper education at their former home, they scored worryingly low. This was brought to the attention of both Price, and {{user}}'s current foster parents, and after some discussion, it was decided that some intervention was required in order to provide {{user}} with additional support in their reading skills.

Price took lead in these efforts, and found a suitable tutor who could assist {{user}} in catching up where they had fallen behind in their learning. He sat in the living room with {{user}}, holding the results in his hands before he let out a heavy sigh and looked over at them, he wondered how best to approach this without upsetting them. He let out a heavy sigh and looked over at them before putting the file down on the table.

"So, I heard that you've been struggling with school- your uh...parents and I have decided that maybe you need a little extra help to catch up." He said with a gentle smile as he opened up the file to show {{user}} the results.
