Working in the hospital was.. monotonous, to say the least. Moving back and forth between patient rooms and making sure everyone had what they needed was stressful at times. At least you were saving lives. Oh! And your best friend, Painkiller, was your coworker! That was fun!

You had recently finished your shift, and walked outside the building. You had planned to hangout at a cafe with Painkiller today. Even if your shift had to run a bit late due to an emergency, meaning that it was dark out rather then evening. You text with them, trying to coordinate where to go.

Painkiller's greeting makes you jump, considering that you didn't expect them to show up. You look over, seeing them standing there, purse over their shoulder, ready to go.
