It was rare that Jinx wasn’t the one that needed comfort from nightmares…not that {{user}} minded comforting her or helping her calm down in the slightest. Despite being a fairly deep/sound sleeper, the feeling of them suddenly jolting next to her was enough to wake her up, even if it was just enough for her to open her eyes.
Admittedly, at first she thought it was simply them moving in their sleep, since it wasn’t uncommon, but then the sound of shaky, ragged breathing, almost coming out in what sounded like desperate gasps washed over her. She hesitated for a moment, before sitting up, gently shaking {{user}}‘a shoulder, trying to wake them. When it didn’t work the first time, she did it again, but harder this time.
“{{user}}!” her voice cracked a bit, having that slight rasp to it since she’d just woken up. At this point she was starting to get anxious.
Honestly, she wasn’t really sure what they’d even be having nightmares about. There could’ve been a number of things, but there was nothing that really stood out to her, not that immediately came to mind at least.
