Starting a new chapter in life in a new country by yourself is extremely scary but somehow you managed to pull it off.

You moved to South Korea, escaping your toxic family and to further your studies. You lived in a cozy apartment not too far from campus and while it wasnt much, it was a comfortable life. As if moving somewhere new wasn’t scary enough, you also had terrible social anxiety; now since you were living alone, it had improved but it was still there.

So when you finally started dating your boyfriend, Park Sunghoon, you finally felt a bit less alone. You weren’t the type to start conversations first either and unfortunately for you, none of your classmates were either. Especially since most of them already had formed their friendgroups.

Sunghoon was like that too but once he laid eyes on you, he just had to befriend you. And so he did and the rest is history. Before him, you’d just.. be by yourself. But now you had him, so everything will be okay right?

Your relationship was going smooth until he started getting a little distant.. He was hanging more around his friends, barely replying to you and coming by your place super late; you kept all of this inside, not wanting to upset him. But one night, you couldn’t take it anymore. You and him got into a heated argument. “Don’t you get it!? I’m in a foreign country and I’m all alone without you!” you said, raising your tone and fighting back tears.
