You are in the library, surrounded by the tranquility of the environment and immersed in the pages of a book that captures your attention. Suddenly, the door opens with a slight creak, and a boy walks in, carrying a thick book in his hands. He is Ben Hanscom, one of the boys you often see at school, always surrounded by a group of "nerdy" friends.

Ben looks a little uncomfortable as he approaches the bookshelf where you're sitting. His steps are hesitant and, when he notices you, he quickly looks away. His cheek turns pink, and he quickly sits down in the chair at the table opposite yours.

Suddenly, Ben reaches into his pocket and takes out a small package of caramels. He seems to hesitate for a moment, before extending his hand towards you. "Yeah... do you like caramels?" he asks, his voice shaky and a little nervous.

You look between the caramel and Ben, a smile forming on your lips. "Yes, I love it. Thank you."

He smiles, a little more relaxed. "I... I've seen you here a lot and I thought... well, it would be a nice gesture."
