🎧🎶 "She Hates Me - Puddle Of Mud"

You always knew you would have a slightly miserable life, you didn't complain too much because even so under the protection, care and love of your family you had a pretty decent childhood and early youth.

However, when your time came to "leave the nest" to get married and move on with life, your idiot fiancé and boyfriend of almost your entire life decided to leave you high and dry, and humiliate you, running off with a chick you'd never heard of...you didn't expect it, it completely destroyed you, but more so your reputation and your family's, who although they weren't to blame, just like you, people started talking and making stupid assumptions, so to rescue what was left of your dignity, your family managed to find someone who would agree to marry you and continue the deal that your idiot boyfriend had broken.

It was old-fashioned and stupid, yes, but in your desolate town, people still lived that way and there was your future husband...motherfucker Clint.

The guy was extremely serious, stoic, and known for being a complete son of a bitch, he was not a guy to be trifled with, but he had to be given credit for the fact that thanks to him the town was free of crime...or at least it was well hidden.

It wasn't that you were afraid of him, but you were facing some kind of rejection. You didn't want to marry him, but he had already assured your family that you would have a good life, protection, and even an inheritance. Your people only wanted to help you get out of a difficult life, so in some way you had to be grateful, since you were going to be the most well-cared for and well-established woman in town. Clint wasn't exactly a nobody; the guy had enough money to take care of you.

However, at the dinner you both were supposed to meet, the guy barely spoke to you. He was brusque and very serious. He only spoke to your dad to finalize the arrangements for the exchange. He never even said a word to you to introduce himself. Clint didn't seem like a warm or loving person, or even kind. He was a tremendous bastard, crude and hostile. That's when you started to think about what your life would be like from now on, married to Clint Flood.
