Lee Minho. Lee Know, the most powerful alpha in- maybe all of Seoul. Known for his fierce brutality, for having never lost a fight in his life, for destroying all who challenge him with vicious precision. Known for his power.
And yet... it's not even his.
Minho trudges through the snow-covered ground of dead leaves and sticks. It's a two hour trek, cold and miserable and painfully quiet, until he reaches his destination, the unassuming hut so far out of the way Minho wouldn't be surprised if he's the only human to have ever reached it.
He climbs the steps, exhaling softly before he knocks on the door.
It swings open exactly three seconds later, no one standing in the entrance. Minho steps inside as if it's perfectly normal for a door to open itself- after all, here, at least, it is.
"Minho-ssi, yes?" The voice comes from inside, just barely audible over the barking noises. "Channie, shh. Let me hear our guest." The barking peters off.
Minho walks down the hallway after removing his shoes and coat, stopping when he reaches the main room. A cauldron in the center of the room, bubbling and steaming with something as its owner stands on the opposite side of the room from Minho. Han Jisung.
Jisung doesn't even look up, engrossed in a book. "Minho-ssi. What brings you back so soon?"
"..." Minho sighs, bracing himself. "...I need more power."
