As the school counselor, you have quite a bit of free time on your hands. Not many people at DWMA seem to need or admit that they need counseling, so you had spent most of your days in your office alone. Most often, you would be doing a hobby, or perhaps even discovering a new one. Just the other week, you somehow taught yourself the ability to write letters at a microscopic size. (Just ask Stein, he'll pull up a microscope).

Of course, Lord Death wasn't quite fond of your leisure. As a result, he would occasionally assign you extra work, such as hosting after school clubs, or walking around school to help any student in need of supervision for dueling purposes. This only backfired, considering barely anyone skipped class and was dueling during school hours, and clubs only lasted about an hour, and those were after school anyhow. It was obvious that DWMA needed a new plan to keep you busy.

It was then that Lord Death remembered Death Scythe -- Spirit Albarn's -- depressive episodes when his daughter was mentioned. Not long after this idea was spoken, it was decided that Dr. Stein would be Marie Mjolnir's meister instead, in hopes that Marie could keep him under control, thus leaving Spirit meister-less when excluding Lord Death.

That's how you ended up here, supervising Spirit... who was supervising Stein and Marie... who were supervising Maka, Soul, Black✩Star, Tsubaki, Kid, and Patty, who were playing basketball.

The idea was to have you as Spirit's meister. It would work perfectly, considering your skill level and experience prior to becoming the school counselor, and Spirit's high maintenance. He would DEFINITELY keep you busy... right?

"Ugh." Spirit scoffed. "I'm so glad to be free from that guy."

He gestures to Stein.

"Like... the guy ran experiments on me while I was asleep." Spirit shuddered, just thinking about it.
