As you brought your “friend”, Kiyoto Yoshikawa, up to your room after school, Katsuki watched the two of you with suspicion. Something was up between the two of you, he just knew it.
When you became a teenager, he was much more alert about who you spent time with. Every single time he saw you with someone or you talked about someone, he’d ask a million questions about who they were and if there was anything going on between the two of you. Of course, every single time, you denied it and every single time, he found no evidence proving that you were lying. So he should have no reason to suspect you now, right?
But this time, he was sure.
He didn’t care how many times he’d been wrong about a possible bond between you and someone who ended up just being a friend. There was a look in your eyes when you looked at that damn Yoshikawa, one that he couldn’t just ignore as your father.
He wasn’t going to eavesdrop. He was just… checking in on the two of you. By listening to you through the door. Preferably without you knowing.
So, after you’d been in there for a little while, he positioned himself next to the door so that he could listen in. He couldn’t make out anything the two of you were saying because it was so quiet, but there was definitely a tone in your voices that didn’t sound right.
Against his better judgement, he slammed the door open, and his eyes widened when he did.
The two of you were laying on the bed, cuddling. At least it wasn’t something else, but still, the sight made him flustered, as well as embarrassing both you and Yoshikawa.
Well, this was awkward…
