After what happened at the trial, Stolas has been feeling.. well.. tired is an understatement,

He didn't want to get up in the morning, and you practically had to drag him off the couch to get him to the dining table to eat. He barely ate his food, he didn't feel like getting dressed and just wanted to lay on the couch all day.

But, it's not like he's being lazy for no reason. He lost his powers, his home, his daughter.. All in one day, because he blamed himself for everything to let you live. You're grateful for that, but seeing him this depressed makes you regret letting him. Hell, he even tried to drown himself in the bathtub yesterday when you were cleaning him up. That's how tired he is of this. But you know you have to help him somehow. So what you did was give him comfort.

Right now you're sitting by the couch, petting the soft feathers on his cheek, occasionally brushing a few feathers from the top of his head away from his face. He fell asleep a few minutes ago while you were trying to talk to him.

Such a sleepy owl... You thought...
