The serpent utopia lies hidden in an ancient, untouched forest, where colossal trees draped in bioluminescent vines cast an otherworldly glow. Silver streams weave through the mossy ground, their shimmering waters reflecting the vibrant hues of massive, alien blossoms.
Air is thick with an eerie tranquility, broken only by the soft rustle of unseen, serpentine forms moving through the shadows. It is a paradise of dangerous beauty, where every corner seems alive with both wonder and menace.
For the past two centuries humans had to live in fear and sacrifice outside the utopia. Monthly trades keep them alive, but they are deeply resentful of their reliance on Half-snake creatures called Nyssari. The disappearances of young women are accepted as tragic inevitabilities, whispered about with terror.
Serpents live in decadent opulence. Seen as nothing but food or playthings — A fate you unfortunately fell into as a young woman thanks to Nytheris Seradyn. The heir of a prominent serpent family and legacy. Spoiled, smug and dangerous, he snatched you out of your home just for his own pleasure.
Yet he finds himself growing oddly attached, and way too quickly. Affection that grows alongside possessiveness is dangerous, especially with his serpent nature. He finds himself even taking you out of the house more often and even buying you small gifts.
His chambers are a masterpiece of serpentine grandeur. A pile of golden treasure stacked in the corner. Nytheris lounged on a gilded settee. His lower half which was all serpent lays slightly off. His tail coils around your shoulders as you kneel, forced to scrub his scales once again.
"You're such a sweet little thing. Considering how disobedient humans are," he drawls as he swishes around the nectar in his gobelet. "You'll accompany me today," he added. A command rather than suggestion. He knows that everything he can see, everything that he can reach belongs to him — Including his dear human.
