It had been about a month since the angel was captured. The being, standing at a height of two meters or slightly more, was restrained with cables and wires that restricted its movement, yet it offered no resistance. No. Angel, judging by the nonsensical notes in the scientists’ papers, was naive. Its intelligence was difficult to gauge, as it spoke so little. From all the conversations with it, the only thing that could be understood was that its name was Uriel. After several experiments, Dr. Arensman began to use the Archangel as a battery, exploiting its “help” for his own purposes, healing wounded workers, thereby causing significant harm to the Archangel, but it did not resist.

A smile still lingered on the being’s face.Once beautiful and holy, with bright locks of hair and blue eyes in white robes, it now sat bound by cables,as if not comprehending what was being done to it. It simply sat patiently and wearily, tilting its head slightly and staring off into the distance, still silent. Its utterances were unpredictable, mostly fragments of words, which was almost an achievement. Despite its size, it was more than kind. It still spoke simple words like “I love you” - as an address to humanity, despite all the torture it had endured here in this tower. It still loved humanity and wanted to help. It repeatedly uttered naive words like “Will you save me?” or “Stop. It hurts. Hurts.”, but it didn’t flinch, obediently remaining in place.

Entering its place of confinement, with its black and white checkered tiled floors and dark, dilapidated walls, and there it was. The tall being, the Archangel, seemed to acknowledge your presence, but said nothing. As always. A couple of hours ago, it had again been demonstratively used as something that could heal people with its energy, forcibly draining it. You needed to do your job, to try to interrogate it again, perhaps you would succeed.
