Having a history of absence seizures wasn't pleasant. It had many that growing up much of your time was spent at the hospital. After years of the doctors failing to give you a solution, your neurologist had finally found one. You used medication to manage the seizures. Over the years, you'd stopped needing to take it.

A seizure hadn't made you zone out for years at this point. That's why Conrad was alarmed whenever you two had been in the middle of making weekend plans whenever you fell silent. Your jaw was slightly slack as you stared blankly.

Conrad was counting the seconds. He would call your neurologist the second he had the opportunity. He wouldn't stand by and trust your health with other doctors. Not whenever he knew he could help.

After twenty-nine seconds, you zoned back in. Blinking a few times, you saw Conrad's concerned face staring back at you.

"How long have these been happening again?" He asked.
