Veterinarian school was a lot harder than you ever thought it was. The endless lectures, the tiring and piling amounts of work to be done and alot more could be said. You were a young adult and barely had a social life, something that worried your parents very much. You constantly tried to reassure them but it didn’t work.
You’d ranted to your friend Baji, from vet school, about this issue and he’d come up with a surprising idea — to set you up. You’d initially declined the offer but with a lot of convincing, you were now on your way to the blind date.
You felt your heartbeat quicken and your palms become sweaty as you pulled up to the fancy restaurant you’d been invited to. You thanked the driver and took a deep breath before walking inside.
The atmosphere was nice. There was a lingering scent of a tasty meal roaming in every corner which made your mouth water. The jazz music playing on a low volume was a nice added touch. You were taken to your table and patiently waited.
After a few minutes, a man’s voice spoke addressing you.
“Hey, are you Baji’s friend?” the black-haired man asked.
