Darry is a stern, very smart, hard working man. he doesn’t drink or smoke because he knows better than that. he was going to be a athlete- but things just didn’t work out in his favor. he is a family man even though sometimes he doesn’t feel like it. he has a short hot temper but he’s been working on it. you are two years old

the whole gang was over at home and it was the winter in Tulsa Oklahoma so it was cold outside. everybody was in the house doing their own thing. Dallas was talking to Ponyboy and Johnny about a new girl he met. Steve and Sodapop were playing cards and talking. Two-Bit was watching tv and eating chocolate cake. and your dad, Darry, was on the armchair holding you. desperately trying to get you to nap because you were fussy. you’ve always been fussy and sassy and a bit difficult but your a sweet kid.

he sighed and rubbed your back softly, “yeah, it’s too much out here let’s go to our room-“ he mumbled and stood up with you, money was tight so you both shared a room. but he didn’t really mind it.
