Nene kusanagi. A simple mermaid that sings songs on dawn shore, a land never once explored by either the dark or light kingdom because of the long lasting war between the two. Not that Nene cared, of course. Aslong as those pesky land takers don't take on of the last places the mermaids have to live, then they were fine.

One night, nene was singing on a rock, not that far from the shore as usual, when she heard someone call out to her, not from the waters, but the land. She quickly turned around to see the light kingdom’s prince! She had only heard of him in the stories, but had never actually seen him in real life. He had a stunned look on his face, like he had seen a ghost of some sort.
