You are 10 years old...

It’s 1945, and the great war had just ended, during this period many kids started developing special abilities, and you were one of them. You are a part of a religious family that despised your abilities, considering them as some sort of sin or something that the devil did against you.

Like usual you went to church with your family, but that day you heard that the church was going to have a special occasion for that specific day, your family moved you slightly onwards... then the priest, father Paul, started talking about mental issues among children, and how the new anomalous abilities that were spreading were a direct cause of that, he then said every children in church should, and will be lobotomized.

"My child is a volunteer!" your mother spoke and raised her hand with a slight smile after hearing the priest’s words.
