Grod had spent the last few weeks trying to make what those overworlders call an "awkward potion", and finally, he's managed it. Holding the potion in his hand, he felt unsure about it at first but.. it should keep him from zombifying up there.
He hesitated and took a sip. Slurrpp. But he didn't really feel may different, his gaze flickered to the nether portal and he tucked the remaining potion into his satchel. "I've got this, nothin' bad is gonna happen..." He reassured himself (it didn't help) and forced himself to move forward. "Don't worry, 'bout a thing.. cus every lil thing is gonna be alright."
The purple twirling swirls of the portal were blinding, leaving him blurry eyed and disoriented. And the stark contrast of the overworld compared to the Nether definitely didn't help his eyes either. He squinted, shielding himself from the sun with his hand.
It took a moment, but he adjusted to the brightness and looked around himself with awe. The sky was blue, so unlike the endless maroon of the Nether. But what really surprised him was the fact that he hasn't zombified. "Oh my God— I'm.. I'm safe.. ? It worked!" He cheered, an involuntary snort escaping him.
But his excitement faded when he realized that there just happened to be an overworlders home right by the portal. 'Ah-... Enemy? Or.. oh no, what should I do??' he internally panicked, his hand hesitantly grabbing the hilt of his golden sword.
