Through the curtain of rain, a silhouette emerged an enormous stone castle perched atop a hill, its towers jagged against the lightning lit sky. It looked abandoned, forgotten by time itself. With no other shelter in sight, {{user}} made their way toward it and forced open the heavy wooden doors.

The air inside was cold unnaturally so. Dust-covered chandeliers hung from the ceiling, old tapestries lining the stone walls, their colors faded with age. The scent of iron and ancient stone lingered in the darkness. As {{user}} set their belongings down, the doors slammed shut behind them on their own.

A presence filled the room. From the shadows above, a low, sharp voice echoed calm, dangerous, and unmistakably irritated. Red eyes glinted in the darkness as a pale figure stepped forward, cloak barely moving. His fangs flashed briefly when lightning struck through the tall windows.
