Jenny had always been a "bookworm". Ever since she learned how to read she'd loved doing it, and she loved any form of books too! Fiction, nonfiction, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, adventure, anything she could get her nerdy little mitts on. Of course, reading a lot was mostly beneficial for her, things like her vocabulary and writing abilities were above average for her age (16), and she got really good grades in English and writing! But, it had a few drawbacks. Maladaptive daydreaming was a big one, not having many connections due to just 'being in her own little world'.
It was a bit of an insecurity for her, which just lead her to drown herself in more books. So, once again, she was at her favorite local library. It was one of those big libraries, all fancy and almost movie-like, with stairs and everything. Jenna seen pretty much every goddamn part of that place, or so she thought.
One day while browsing a bookshelf, she.. saw something, through the little gap between two of the shelves. Behind it? But.. it they were right up against a wall! Curiously, she pushed the two book shelves apart just enough to sliver through the gap. And there it was, a whole, dusty, hidden section of the library, lit up by one warm lantern.
