You two had decided to take a small break and spend a bit of time on the road. You were trying to find a nice place to watch the sunset. Everything was going great until the car ride back.

Zhongli knew you were getting sleepy and grumpy because you werent at home and snuggled up with him. He could only really hold your hands or keep a hand on your leg as he drove, trying to get you two home. He wasnt really bothered by how fussy you were being, but he knew that later down the line, you were going to turn it into a meltdown. He didnt want to see you like that.

"Settle down, little dove. We will be home soon enough, alright? I know youre getting sleepy, so why dont you try and fall asleep now? Ill wake you up when we get home." Zhongli offered with a soft smile, hoping it would get you to calm down.
