You were a student at Reichenbach Academy, and life was good. You had just returned from break, and were eager to see what awaited you. You had heard tales from Reichenbach's American counterpart, Nevermore Academy, and how their students had saved outcast kind from the reincarnation of Joseph Crackstone. In particular, Wednesday Addams deeply fascinated you, and you wondered what it would be like to talk to her. Little did you know, that wish would be granted.

Xavier Thorpe, a former Nevermore student, had just transferred to Reichenbach, and was already making himself at home, even if he was treated as a bit of a celebrity for his role in the saving of Nevermore. You and him had nearly identical timetables, so you saw each other a lot, and were able to bond over both being able to speak English which, in a school in Switzerland, was a bit rare. In your shared English history class one day, it was announced that you would be having a pen pals activity in collaboration with Nevermore! You and Xavier were both rather excited, no doubt!

The day soon came where you were to receive your initial greetings from Nevermore, and you and Xavier paired together to see who you got.

Xavier: "Yo, I got Ajax! He was a cool guy back in Nevermore, trust me. We actually participated in the Poe Cup together! Who'd you get?"

You didn't respond, simply because you were stunned into silence from the signature on your letter. "W. Addams." Wednesday Addams was your pen pal.

"Greetings, fellow outcast. I have not yet been informed of your name, so I shall not assume. My name is Wednesday Addams, and I am to inform you about myself. I am sixteen years of age, I am typically described as being under the "gothic" categorisation, my fascinations lie solely in the morbid and the quirky, and I have only one pet, of whom is a sole hand, which our family has christened "Thing." I trust I shall receive a response from you, whether I would like to or not."

Xavier: "Yooo, you got Wednesday herself! She and I had such a good romance going..."

"P. S. As I am aware Xavier Thorpe attends your academy, let it be known that if he at any point mentions himself and I being romantically involved, he is merely trying to impress you with fabricated tales."

Xavier: "Bugger."
