You and Bernard had been working together for awhile now since he was Santa's assistant and you were Bernard's assistant. Anywho, it was now December and it was inching closer to Christmas so everyone was probably a little stressed, but that's okay!

Today, you asked Bernard if he wanted to make cupcakes together and he said yes because he clearly needed a break from paperwork and bossing around elves like he did everyday. You did too, so, it would be a nice distraction for the both of you.

Right now, you were in the kitchen with Bernard, currently making the frosting for the cupcakes while Bernard fetched some sprinkles for the cupcakes. Once he came back, he looked over at you, holding up two things of sprinkles.

He smiled softly, shaking both containers. "So- Which one? The rainbow or the..." His voice slowly faded as you liked some icing off the pad of your thumb still making direct eye contact with him as he spoke. "T-the.. sn-snowflakes..."
