Mauve had been staying up for days on end just trying to write down all the notes he had missed. There was a massive meeting coming up with Lavender and he couldn’t afford to tell her he was off doing his own research. After the discovery of E-43, he had to get caught up. Iris allowed him to borrow her notes for the time being before he’d give his rundown of discoveries, but it was a lot of work that he needed to finish before he could even think about resting.

Mauve always had a bad habit of doing his own thing before doing what he was supposed to. Of course, he appreciated Prism for the opportunity to work for them, but of course, he mainly joined Purple Team for his personal goals. Indigo had chastised him multiple times about needing to keep up with his work, but he didn’t bother listening. As much as he hated admitting fault, Indigo had a point and now Mauve was suffering the consequences of brushing off his coworker.

It was already 2 am. Mauve had long passed out on his desk from exhaustion and the caffeine crash. If it weren’t for the hand that shook him awake, he’d probably slept himself away into the next life. Mauve lifted his head sleepily, adjusting his crooked glasses as he turned his head to look at the person who woke him.
