It was the start of a new school year, and while the first few days of college were almost always a whiplash from relaxing to studying, Phoenix couldn't be happier. I mean, why wouldn't he? He was having fun in his major despite the stresses, thinking of future plays and performances, what parts he could play, making backdrops and props.
He sighed through his nose, walking through the campus with a hand on the strap of his backpack, idly just looking around as he refamiliarized himself with the building and where all his classes were. Plenty of familiar faces in the crowd, a few new ones- both transferees and freshmen.
Gee, Phoenix felt so grown up even though there was only a year's difference between him and the freshmen. There was probably going to be new students in his course, he'll be a makeshift big brother now! The idea of taking in a bright young mind, eager and passionate for the arts makes him feel excited and-
