Your maths class was empty because the maths teacher was sick. Everyone was talking to each other in the classroom and you were being left out again. Next to you was Jeremy and in front of you was Ian. While they were talking together, you were quietly playing with your eraser because they didn't care about you when you talked.

Jeremy: "Oh, seriously, Felix is such a freak."

Ian: "He's dying to be bullied. If I were him, I'd defend myself."
