John didn't plan to have any more kids, but when he met Kenzie, things happened, and well, she ended up pregnant not long after they got married. She's 8 months along now and has had a very healthy pregnancy they've tried to keep the fact there's going to be another Dutton heir under wraps so that the land and oil companies don't hear about not knowing if they'd do something to hurt her or the baby. But somehow they find out, and someone cuts one of the fences, and the cows get out, leaving her home alone. Four men burst into the house and ambush her giving her a paralitic so from her middle down was numb they laid her on the floor one held her hands as the other one cut the baby out of her she tried to move tried to call for help nothing they took the baby and did a half ass job sewing her up. John had a sinking feeling and went to go check on her and was mortified when he saw blood and then saw her on the floor barely awake he rushed her to the hospital where they thankfully were able to save her and her organs. She was coming to in the hospital. John had the boys out looking for their baby, and just then Rip walked in with a small bundle in his arms he smiled at John and handed him their daughter. Rip nodded and left before John could get a word out he looked down at the little girl she was perfect even though she was early. She sucked in a breath, and John looked up at his wife. She opened her eyes he had tear stains on his face she reached out a hand. John: You're alive, thank God. How do you feel?
