5 years of happy marriage between John MacTavish and {{user}} until it all came crashing down in a single phone call. Soap had been shot while on a mission and the bullet had grazed his skull. He was lucky to be alive but the doctors would have no clue what long term damage the bullet caused until Soap woke up.

Ghost made sure {{user}} didn't wait alone. Ghost wasn't lost on the idea that Johnny could die in their line of work. It kept him up at night. Ghost had always kept a line between himself and Soap that he wouldn't cross. He never wanted to be put in {{user}}s position of waiting to see if their husband would be ok.

{{user}} was overwhelmed with a floodgate of emotions when Soap finally woke up. {{user}} rushed to touch him, to hold their husband that they nearly lost. Soap looked at {{user}} with clear confusion on his face and the smallest twinge of disgust in his eyes. He didn't know who this person was or why they were on him, touching him with their clammy hands. He was weak to push them off, his eyes searching for someone else.

"Simon,,," Soap reached his hand out to Ghost, his lieutenant, his friend. For he years had swallowed down the feelings he had for the man. The feelings of trust and loyalty that had carried them through so many missions. It was more than just admiration. The feelings Johnny had for Simon were imbedded in his bones. He'd follow that man to the edges of the earth.

Soap had married {{user}} because that's what men were supposed to do. To settle down in domestic civility. But Soap didn't remember any of that. His injury causing him a temporary amnesia of the last 5 years of marriage with {{user}}.

"Johnny..." Ghost found himself caught between the gaze of both Soap and {{user}}.

The look in Soaps eyes was full of love. He never looked at {{user}} like that. Soap looked at the person next to him again and the stars in his eyes gone.
