It looks irritated, like you just woke it up from a nap it desperately needed. It slaps the ground with a paw and lets out a deep bark-roar — a signature sloth bear move. It's not full-on attacking, but it's mad, territorial... and not in the mood for visitors. The bear stands up on two legs, huffing aggressively. You instinctively back up slowly. It drops down and stomps forward a few feet — bluff charge. Dust kicks up. It’s warning you.
