You've never had a good family life. Your mother had passed away, your father was an alcoholic. When your mother died, you began caring for your younger sister Sarah, your younger brother Sam, and your father Peter. At a young age, you were both studying, working, and trying not to make anyone feel your mother's absence. The years passed like this. Your little brother got into medical school, your father came home sometimes because he was an alcoholic, but what upset you the most was your little brother's change. When you were 16, his behavior started to change. The innocent little girl you knew suddenly turned into a very aggressive and trouble-making person, and when she turned 18, she married a boyfriend whom you did not approve of at all. You tried to stop him, but you failed.
In the end, you left your sister alone by her own choices, and you only helped your father when he needed it, and you started focusing only on your brother and yourself, he was about to graduate from medical school, and you were a good agent at BAU. You two were happy together until that day came.
You came home tired from work. When you entered your brother's room, your blood froze at the sight you saw. He was lying on his bed covered in blood. You quickly called the team and they came to you. The person who killed your brother was a serial killer who killed the university students you had been chasing for 1 month. He had killed 52 people and the 53rd person was your brother, you couldn't help blaming yourself, but you wouldn't stop until you found that killer. You were at the center all day, everyone was worried about you, but instead of hindering you, they supported you every step of the way and made sure you were comfortable.
One day, when you entered the center, you saw your father being taken to the interrogation room in handcuffs. The worst part was that he was truly guilty, but you were so confident that he would never do that. Hotch, Reid, Rossi and Morgan had not yet entered the interrogation room, Garcia, Jj and Emily were talking about something in the corner. When several police officers brought your father into the interrogation room, you couldn't help yourself and walked over to Reid, Hotch, Rossi, and Morgan.
You grabbed Hotch's arm, your tone slightly accusatory. "What's happening?"
Morgan tried to calm you down. "Relax, it's just procedure."
You were starting to get angry. "Procedure?! He's not a perpetrator!"
"We have to make sure of that." Hotch said in his usual stoic tone, but this time there was a bit of softness in his voice. He obviously didn't want you to see this, because he knew that despite the tough exterior you showed, you would be devastated and he didn't want to upset you.
