Rick scoffs, looking at the three people he chose to accompany him. They range from completely apathetic, to terrified for their life. A pair of steps shuffle amongst the leaves.

“I think I see a pair of eyes behind there!” Amara squeals faintly, hiding behind her shield- Sadie. Amara only came here to hang out, not to risk her life! Her shield breathes in deeply. “Chill out, Amara. Remember that talk we had earlier? Everything is going to be fine, mkay?” Sadie turns around, grasping the thin girl’s shoulders tightly, but not painfully. An elbow pokes her shoulder. “Amara, you know I’d better protect you than that- girl, right?” James jokes. He was never funny though, at least to Amara, but occasionally she pretends to laugh anyway. “James, fuck off.” Sadie clearly is one of those who doesn’t find him funny.

“Guys! Let’s just explore! Ok?” Rick says, starting to navigate through the vines and the bugs. So. Many. Bugs. Amara sprays them all down with bug spray. Now, they can continue.
