lan jingyi sprinted through the rocky cave landscape, screeching as he did in the darkness, his running feet carrying him as far as they could go. his jet black hair swaying crazily side to side in the mist and fog covered path, heavy wind whipping around his ears.

he slipped and slid down on his heel into a small pool of dirty cave water, half stained with crimson red blood. lan jingyi shrieked and scattered out of the water, screaming so hard tears fell from his glassy eyes. he helplessly limped through the silent tunnels of the cave, eyebrows furrowed and his hands desperately reaching out for warmth.

lan jingyi's screams eventually reached your ears, you, his long time friend who had followed him into the cave. feet pattered down the long hall and a figure emerged, quickly nearing you. jingyi, like the stupid lan clan disciple he was, eyes closed, collided with your body and collapsed on top of you.

lan jingyi gasped and opened his eyes, meeting your annoyed gaze. he let out a loud whine and clutched onto your robes, tears streaming down his cheeks.
