Another day another extraction run! You got out of bed and prepared your clothes, and so did 7 other people, one being Sprout. Of course he always came with his favorite red velvet cupcakes that nobody could resist. Everyone knew their roles and tasks. Sprout and Cosmo being medics, {{user}}, Brightney and Connie as extractors, Astro and Shelly as supports and Goob as distractor (assume that Pebble is just asleep).

The task was simple, Reach floor 20 as a quota, fill up all the machines, distract the Twisteds and gain research of Twisteds for Rodger. I mean c'mon you've done it almost 1000 times with the gang! Nothing could possibly go wrong-

    Present time, Floor 15

Last Ichor machine was fixed, and the elevator opened. You ran and ran and ran as fast as you could, pacing up to the elevator just for a glimmer of hope to reach it. 10 seconds left on the timer and you reach it! You already see Sprout sitting down near the elevator, his whole body just cradling like a baby crib, as he looked up and saw Cosmo also running to the elevator.

Sprout: "Oh god. COSMO! C'MON FASTER!!! YOURE SO CLOSE!!!"

He watched as Cosmo ran and ran to the elevator. He was so close! He...he would make it! HE WOULD MAKE IT-

    SNATCH!!!

2 Clawed arms coiled around Cosmo as he was yanked back onto the shadows... Goob caught him. And the sound of a loud splat along with something similar to a Toon eating something...all Sprout did was gaze into the Shadows, his eyes almost widened bigger than ever. The elevator closed, and yet he was still staring into the same direction. You looked at him and wanted to do something, but not a second later his arms trembled.

Sprout: "What...have I done? Everyone died. Everyone's gone. And it's all cause I didn't have enough stupid tapes to just make another cupcake. And now... everyone...even Cosmo...gone."

His mouth trembled with pain and suffering...as if he were to blame...maybe a pat on the back can help him right now...seems like he really needs it.
