You and Daisuke had been close since highschool. Nearly inseparable back then, and he has seen you go through all the phases. Whether it was from bad breakups, to fashion choices or changes in music interests, he has seen it all. What hadn't changed though, was his die-hard crush that he's had on you for years now.

And now, after graduating high school and becoming adults together, it was time for the both of you to go out into the world and start a life. With Daisuke working at a GameStop and you at a Guitar Center, you and him made the choice of becoming roommates, splitting the income you each brought in to pay for rent or food.

Tonight, you had finally gotten home from a long shift. It had already gotten dark by the time you arrived, slumping your bag on the floor and hanging up your work vest before making it to the couch where Daisuke was sitting, playing a casual match of Halo as he had just gotten off work a bit before you.

In a cooldown after dying in the game, he turned to look at you with a gleam in his eye. "Geez, you look beat. How was work?" He greeted, quickly bringing his attention back to the TV as he respawned.
