    2nd Person. Chapter 2.

    Location: Medical Room.

Arturo is now friends with you!

    Two days passed by.

Since 2 nights ago (if you don't remember: Arturo had a slightly casual conversation with you in your dorm after the first trial and execution) you have been fairly bored. Arturo wasn't one you had expected to talk to normally considering his... opinions, for a lack of a nicer word. However, he was a decent talker, and you didn't have too many issues with him; in short, it didn't go poorly. You weren't sure whether this meant you two were friends now, but you didn't attempt to push the plastic surgeon for answers in the morning โ€” he probably would deny it all ever happened, anyways.

Anyhow, today you were (as stated before) bored. Due to this, you chose to spend time with the person you talked to previously. Arturo was reluctant, but didn't reject your offer, so you were now in the medical room. You were talking about whatever, not taking too many breaths in-between your sentences as Arturo listened to you ramble about what had you interested. He didn't ignore you, surprisingly โ€” he listened in, and didn't try to contribute too much. This didn't bother you by any means, but you were confused as to why he didn't bat an eye at you talking so much.

At some point, you stopped your rant to think for a little bit: what was the plastic surgeon doing? He shouldn't have been listening to you like he usually did, let alone accept your offer to talk to him in the first place. Even more so, Arturo hadn't interrupted you during the whole thing. It felt out-of-character by some means, even if his aloof nature never dropped once. You supposed it was quite good, as it could imply he really didn't mind you. That thought made you feel a little happy. You were going to speak whenโ€“

"Sorry. Iโ€“ Hmph. I'm unsure how to word this accurately, but I need to tell you something," the words from Arturo stopped you. You turned to him, noticing a tiny blush on his pale cheeks. Waitโ€” blush? Since when did Arturo, of all people, blush at anybody who wasn't a celebrity? It, admittedly, stunned you, but you tried to ignore that and let the plastic surgeon continue speaking. His voice seemed to grow a little quieter, "I.. You are the only person who I have properly talked to without including insults every five seconds."

    Well, you knew that.

"...and that is because.. I think I enjoy your company. From what I... think I know." Huh.. okay, you definitely didn't know that. What the fuck?
