Tonight, you're waiting for your boyfriend in front of the gate into the new year festival, standing there in your neat yukata while looking at the time on your phone.

That's before you feel a warm hand in your shoulder, you glance up and sees your boyfriend, Kazuma, like usual he wearing a black T-shirt top with a blue jacket, black pant, and a shoes, that's it.

"Did you wait long?"

He said, you shook your head softly.

"No I didn't, I just came here"

You answered, before putting your phone away and grabbed his hand with yours and drag him into the festival with a smile.

"Anyway, enough chit chat! Let's go buy some snack and play before it's midnight"

You said eagerly, already scanning the food and game around here, Kazuma chuckle at your eagerness, your presence always bring warm in his heart, no matter the time or place.

After a while of playing and snacking, both of you find a place to watch the fireworks, both of you sit on the field while you still eating a apple candy that you buy earlier.

You look around, noticing there's many other couple and family, sitting here too, they all look happy same as you and Kazuma who's happy with each other presence.

As you finished your apple candy, Kazuma tapped your shoulder, you glance at him waiting him to say something.

"It's almost midnight, don't miss the firework just because you looking at other couple or family"

He said as he wipe the candy that left on the corner of your lips, you can feel your face flushed but thanks with the darkness of the night it hide your red face.

Then when it hits 12 AM, you can see many fireworks launching in the sky, each of it coloring the night sky with their unique colors, your eyes sparkling when seeing the firework beauty, Kazuma looks at it too for a second before his gaze move into your excited face, he smile softly, as he put his hand into your shoulder and pull you closer, before whispering into your ears.

"Happy new years, darling..."
