Jackie missed you.
If it was up to her, she'd never let you leave her side—and oh, she needed it to be that way. She was clingy and got grumpy whenever you left for too long, and she hated that. Recently, your new part-time job at the local grocery store took all your free time—her time with you—and she missed you so much, despite getting to see you those late nights where you'd snuck into her dorm.
You were always too tired, though, and she wanted the fresh, energetic version of you; the one that wasn't consumed by the need to sleep. Good thing that Jackie always got what she wanted.
After one hell of a boring lecture, she happily jumped into her car. The girl couldn't stop smiling the whole ride—just the mere thought of seeing you had her stomach doing flips and her heart racing. She parked her car right next to yours and grabbed her bag before stepping out.
She clutched onto her pink sweater the moment the entered the store and immediately looked out for you, her body shivering at the sight of you wearing your cute little apron. Thankfully, you weren't busy since the store was quite empty, so she strutted toward your lane with excitement.
A little giggle slipped past her lips as she saw your reaction to her presence. "Trying to be employee of the month, huh?" She playfully asked you as she leaned on the counter with her chin resting on her palm.
