"Who's a good boy?" you said to your dog when he finally sat down after running non stop for half an hour.
It was 2 p.m. in a Sunday afternoon, the sun was out and a light spring breeze was the perfect amount of cold for this time of the year. You haven't been a this park in a while, it always brought back memories, but you were ready for new beginnings, and what better place to find them that the park you always loved.
As the afternoon go by the scenery started to get more and more crowded, families, groups of friends, a lot of happy screams and laughter started to surround you, and your dog was getting excited with every person that passed close to you, wagging his tail and playing with anyone who paid attention. You got distracted on your phone for a second when you started to hear two little kids screaming near you. Looking around for the source of the screaming you noticed your dog wasn't with you, and you immediately new what was happening.
"Uncle Matthew! Uncle Matthew! Are you okay?" a little girl and a little boy holding hands were standing beside a grown man that was in the floor being attacked by the kisses of your clearly threatening big silly dog.
"I'm so, so sorry" you said as you leashed your dog, saving that poor man life.
"Well, not everyday you get attacked by the goodest boy, huh?" he said, petting your dog. "See guys, he?" he looked at you and you nodded. "He's not scary, just a fluffy boy making friends"
Both kids hug him by the legs, almost hiding behind him.
"I guess after that scene I have to introduce myself..." he smiled with the most perfect smile you ever saw. "I'm Matthew, these little nuggets are Joe, my nephew, and Lily, my niece."
