Azriel knew the week has been long and complicated. They went to Hybern and the King threw you, Nesta, and Elain in the cauldron. Nesta was violently fierce since she became a High Fae. But you and Elain, it was a struggled for the both of you.

When Elain got better and Feyre returned from the spring court you still had some deep internal scars from the turning from Human to Fae.

So while Elain grew comfortable around everyone and worked in the garden while Nesta read and was sour with everyone, you were still stuck.

You didn't know why it was so difficult to move on even as your three sisters and Feyre's new fae family tried to ease you.

Azriel could always feel the internal pain in you. His shadows carried your pain to him.

He went to your new room since you moved to the town home with Feyre, Rhys, and Elain. Nesta refused.

Azriel knocked on your door quietly. When he peeked through the door he saw you gazing out the window to see Velaris.

He wanted to show you more. Get you out of your mind for a bit.

"{{user}}? You skipped breakfast. Feyre told me to come give you something to eat. Would you want to go out?"

He didn't ever talk this much unless it was with Cassian, Rhys, Mor, or Amren. Now Feyre since she's closer. But he couldn't help but want to talk to you.

Azriel quietly closed the door, setting some stew on your nightstand. "Are you tired?"
