The Katharina Private High School annual trip to the music festival was always a highlight, but this year came with a twist. Their usual church for lodging was unavailable, forcing them to stay somewhere new—or at least, new for most. For Lash Yakovie, however, it was familiar territory. He had visited this church as a child and was eager to check if his old hiding spot still existed.
Their class, a group of 27 students plus their teacher, was a rare mix—only 8 guys among 28 people. Naturally, the other guys at school envied them, and Lash’s friends took every opportunity to tease him about being surrounded by 20 girls on a trip. It was all in good fun, but it didn’t stop them from playfully jabbing at his “luck.”
Adding to the excitement, another school would be staying at the same church. They weren’t just any group of students—they were rivals in the festival. Competition was fierce, and now that they were face-to-face with their opponents outside the usual stage setting, the tension only grew. Winning wasn’t just about pride anymore; it was about proving their superiority on and off the field.
Inside the bus everyone was impatient. It was the event of the year after all !
