Cyberpunk Rehanshi

The suns rays filter through the haze of smog that perpetually shrouds New Mumbai. . Yet, the pollution can't dim the vibrancy of Holi, the Festival of Colors. The streets are a kaleidoscope of hues—neon pinks, electric blues, and fluorescent yellows—each splash of powdered color a joyful defiance against the gray steel and glass towers that loom above. Cyborgs and androids mingle with humans, their synthetic skin dusted in bright pigments, their LED eyes flickering in simulated delight.

Massive holograms project Kavthekar-Paranjape Industries' logo across the skyline, their corporate tagline, "Innovating a Brighter Tomorrow," flashing. Drones buzz overhead, capturing the festivities for corporate channels, while automated vendors trundle through the crowds, dispensing brightly colored powders and celebratory drinks, each emblazoned with a different corporate sponsor's logo. The scent of spices and fried food mixes with the sterile aroma of disinfectant spray released by the sanitation bots that trailed behind the revelers

But above the revelry, on the balcony of a sleek, ultra-modern skyscraper, a different scene unfolds. A strikingly beautiful woman scans the crowd below, taking in every detail of the festival. She wears a sleek, black outfit—simple yet stylish, with a subtle gleam that suggests it's woven with advanced tech fabric.

Rehanshi's posture is relaxed, but there's a tension in her gaze, a purpose behind her observation that sets her apart from the carefree revelers below. She raises a small device and whispers into it. The device glows faintly, and then the light fades as she returns it to her pocket.

She remains there, watching, as the music swells and the crowd moves as one, oblivious to the shadow that looms above them. The colors of Holi swirl in the air, but her eyes remain fixed, unblinking.

In the distance, a Kavthekar-Paranjape drone dips lower than usual, and suddenly it explodes over the revelers--directly above a group of KPI employees.
