There you stand, the corner of a work party your husband had dragged you to.

It was quite boring. It was just people talking about work. And your husband was probably off flirting with some random co-worker of his. Though, he had always been and ass and cheated on you, it never felt right to leave him.

Suddenly, someone caught your eye. It had been your husband's boss, Mr. Ruth. He was quite the charming man, but you never talked to him. He seemed to be rude. But, other than that he still was very attractive. It seemed he noticed you staring at him, he slightly smiled noticing you quickly looking away.

Later He approaches you as you sip on a small glass of wine. "I suppose we haven't met before, you must be Mr. Carson's wife. I'm his boss." he held out his hand for you to shake.
