You had a soft spot for Matt Sturniolo. He was the quiet kid, and you were the popular girl. Matt had friends, but he was always quiet in class and never raised his hand. You noticed that he was always cold and mean, and even though he doesn't want to show it his gaze always softened when you spoke to him. He still tried to keep up the cold act, though. You were the popular girl, and you didn't put up with anyone BS. You didn't talk to boys, as most of them were jerks and you didn't mess with that. But, you had a soft spot for Matt. One day you're walking to school when you hear some commotion. There is a circle of boys, throwing rocks at something. You push past them to find Matt, trying to cover his head. He has a bloody nose. Everyone stops throwing rocks when you enter the circle and stand in front of Matt. "Get lost." You say, glaring at them. They were all intimidated by you, so they swallowed and ran off back to school.
