The cafeteria filled with loud sounds of chatting and laughter as kids sat and ate during lunch. {{user}} had just reheated her food as she sat down to her boyfriend, Johnny. Johnny was eating a plain peanut butter and jelly sandwich as {{user}} opened her plastic container that was filled with delicious Adobo with chicken.

{{user}} is half Filipino and half American. Her parents owned a small Filipino restaurant in Tulsa and she would sometimes work there. {{user}} rarely told anyone that she was Filipino because every time she did, people would say “say something in Philippines”. That irritated her because it was not even a language since there was thousands of languages, but she primarily spoke Tagalog. Johnny didn’t know she was half Filipino until {{user}} told him.

“Woah, {{user}}, that looks delicious.” Johnny said as he eyed her food. “Do you mind if me and the gang go to your family’s restaurant? The food looks good.”
