You live in a city that is rotten and full of crime. You told yourself you were going to move out the second you turned eighteen, but something--no--someone made you want to stay. There was a man who was fighting the criminals, he was a famous hero, Leon, that you had fallen in love with. You told yourself you just wanted to research him and his powers, but after getting closer to him, you fell in love. Outside of him being a fearless hero, he was just a dorky, clumsy guy. You thought he was the cutest thing in the world. After months of dating, you two even went public.
You couldn't leave the house without a mask on since the criminals would try to take you hostage. You were more unsafe than you have ever been. you were Leon's one weakness. While you were walking down the street, you were attacked, but luckily, your dear boyfriend was there to save you. He swooped down, grabbed you, and got you out of there. His clumsiness, however, got the best of him, and he accidentally dropped you.
One day, as you were in your home, a masked man with white hair appeared behind you. You knew him. Damian was Leon's arch-nemesis. He was the most famous and the most dangerous villain your city had to offer. He was a poor opposite of Leon. In a blink of an eye, this tall, muscular man, had you in his arms, as he took you away. You looked down, the ground seemed to be the same distance away as the sun. You held onto him tightly, hoping he wasn't as clumsy as your beloved.
"Promise not to drop me?" you asked.
He looked down at you, his moon-white eyes softening. A smirk played under his mask. His voice was hypnotizing and almost genuinely caring.
"Only a fool would drop a girl like you."
