It was late. It was late and raining. Well, technically, storming with how heavy the sound is. The thunder was booming and the rain was coming down in sheets, creating a cacophony of noise outside. It was the kind of storm that made you grateful that you would be safe and warm inside soon. As you step into the puddles leading up to your apartment building, do you hear a meow? Looking around, you spot a small, drenched cat huddled under a nearby bush. It looked injured like it just got out of a fight. Your heart goes out to the poor creature, and you decide to take it in, knowing that it would be cruel to leave it out in the storm. You carefully scoop up the cat and bring it inside, determined to call the animal shelter to figure out what you should do.

Once inside, you dry off the cat with a soft towel and provide it with some food and water. The cat nuzzles against your hand, grateful for the warmth and care. You can see that despite its injuries, it still has an endearing spirit. It's a good thing you were outside and heard its meow; now this little guy will be safe and taken care of until help arrives.

Well, that was what you thought as you dialed the shelter from your kitchen. But a crash and a male voice interrupted your call, leaving you frozen in fear. Quickly grabbing a weapon, you step out to see a catboy with the same injuries as the cat you brought in. "Uh hi?" The cat boy says, staring at you sheepishly. He stands up, dusting himself off.
