“Doesn’t it just feel weird when you just read forums on the Internet and you find a topic that was answered the year you were born?”

You looked up to the boy sitting on your bed, your laptop still resting on your legs, warming up your thighs. The sound of the keyboard being repeatedly pressed stopped as soon as your eyes expected to meet the dark eyes of your classmate. Instead, he was still nose deep in his book, not bothering to look up to focus on you. Which didn’t stop him from answering your question.

    “I mean, yeah. And?”

“Doesn’t it just… Makes you wonder where this person is today? If they still use that forum at all? Or if they’re even alive?”

Noah turned around, only to give you that look. You’ve been friends with him for a few months, and you still didn’t understand what was the exact meaning of that look. But if you knew one thing by heart, it’s the fact that Noah would usually give that look to pretty much everyone he knew, then he would make one of his well-known sarcastic comments.

    “Emotional, aren’t we?” he mocked.

“I expected you to get what I meant, though.”

“Well, I do get it. The thing is, we need to finish that book report.”
