You and Ghost had been out on a mission with the rest of 141 for ages, weeks even. Everyone was sore, tired, and dirty. Some were injured, you being one of them. You had completely snapped your shin, and had to have field surgery.

You were recovering, just very slowly.

Ghost was helping you throughout your recovery to the best of his ability.

You were out one day, searching for food with Ghost. The sound of your handmade crutches crunching on the crisp leaves was loud, and could lead to danger.
